Battle Creek Enquirer – Feb  8, 1994
 Clifford Allen McNees, 72, of Battle Creek died Sunday, Feb, 6. 1994,
in Battle Creek Health System/Leila Site after a long illness.
 He was born in Buckley to Clifton B. and Althea (Drake) McNees.
He moved to Bangor at the age of 9 and to Battle Creek in the 1930's.
He attended Battle Central High School.
 Mr. McNees was a welder and iron worker at Reichert Steel before retiring. 
He also worked for two years in the early 1950's at the Battle Creek Veterans 
Medical Center and also had a farm on Collier Road for many years.
 Mr. McNees was a U.S. Army disabled veteran who served in the Cavalry Division 
from 1938 to 1944. 
 He attended First Baptist Church in Springfield.
 He enjoyed fishing and, years ago, hunting on his farm.
 He is survived by his wife; a son; 5 brothers; 3 sisters.
He also was preceded in death by a son Dwight Allen McNees, killed in -
action in Vietnam, 1969; sisters, Margaret Ryoka and Dorothy Hutchins; and a 
brother, Clarence M. McNees.
 Visitation: After 3 p.m. today at  Farley-Estes Funeral Home, where the 
family will be present from 3 - 4 pm and 6:30 - 8:00 pm.
 Services: 3 p.m. Wednesday at funeral home.
 Burial: Reese Cemetery.
Memorials: Good Samaritan Hospice Care.
