Battle Creek Enquirer – July 12, 1983
David N. McNees, 44, died Saturday in Leila Hospital. He had been ill three 
months and hospitalized since Wednesday.
 He was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek and formerly was employed by 
several industrial factories in Kalamazoo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air 
Force and attended the Family Altar Chapel.
 He is survived by a son; his mother; his father; 2 brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hebble Funeral Home. Memorial donations 
may be made to the Calhoun County Unit of the American Cancer Society
