Battle Creek Moon Journal  May 14, 1907
 Thomas Scanlan died Sunday afternoon at Nichols Hospital. Deceased was about 
Fifty years of aage and is survived by his wife and three sons.
Mrs. Scanlan also lies very ill at the hospital, a circumstance which makes the 
death of Mr. Scanlan doubly sad.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning in St. Phillip's 
Church and internment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
