Battle Creek Newspaper
BOY, 6 YEARS OLD, DIES 
 SUDDENLY THIS MORNING.

 Thomas A. Scanlan, 6-year-old
son of Mr. and Mrs. John P.
SCanlan, 242 South McCamly, died
this morning, following a very
short illness. He was taken sud-
denly ill Monday evening at 8
o'clock. A post mortem examina-
tion will be held to determine the
cause of death.
 Besides his parents, he is surv-
vied by one sister and three brothers
at home, and his grandmother Mrs. Agnes
Pfander of East Hall Street.
 Funeral services will be held Friday
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the
Hebble Chapel and burial will be made
in Oak Hill Cemetery.
