Battle Creek Enquirer
Amon "Duane" Smith, 51, of Dowling, passed away December 18, 2007 at 
Battle Creek Health System. He was born in Battle Creek.
Duane graduated from Hastings High School in 1975. He was owner of Treeman 
Inc., along with his brother Dan and uncle Dillard. 
He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Smith and uncle, Dillard Smith.
Duane enjoyed fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling, he was an outdoors man.
Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Richard A. 
Henry Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor 
Matt Hayman of Dexter Lake Church of God officiating. 
In lieu of flowers his family requests that you plant a tree in memory of him.
