Battle Creek Enquirer
Connie Underwood, 50, of Battle Creek, died December 19, 2007 at the Battle Creek Health System. 
Connie graduated from Bellevue High School and furthered her education at 
Davenport University.
Connie was preceded in death by a daughter, Leanne Jeannette Underwood on 
November 11, 1996; her father, William A. Wakefield; 
and a sister, Judy Jarman. 
"Connie was a wonderful lady and will be truly missed by us all!" She enjoyed 
reading, landscaping and working in her yard, shopping and spending time with 
her family and friends. 
At the request of the family, friends may call after 1:00 p.m., Sunday, 
December 23, 2007 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where they will be 
received 1:00 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 7:00 p.m., Sunday. Funeral services to 
celebrate Connie's life will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2007 
at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Sparks of Resurrection Power Ministries, 
officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials 
directed to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
