Lyle Willis White, 85, of Battle Creek died Monday, July 30, 2007 at the 
Laurels of Bedford. Lyle served his country as a member of the United States 
Navy during WWII. He retired from Post Cereals in 1980 after more than 38 years 
of faithful service.
Lyle was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.
Lyle attended Dexter Lake Church of God and was a member of the Post 25 Year 
Club. He enjoyed buying and selling antiques with his wife Erma.
At the request of the family, friends may call after 3:00 p.m., today at the 
Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where they will be received 3:00 7:00 p.m. 
Funeral services to celebrate Lyle's life will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, 
August 2, 2007 in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor H. 
Leon Rayburn, officiating. Memorials made to the Alzheimer's Association or the 
American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
