Eliza Jane Myers Dowding was the daughter and 3rd child of Peter J. and 
Catherine Holmes Myers.  She was known by most as "Rose".  It is fact that 
many relatives did not know that her birth name was Eliza Jane. Rose was the 
wife of Soloman J. Dowding and my maternal Great Grandmother.
