Clifton James Dowding was the 4th child, 2nd son of Solomon J. and Eliza J 
(Rose) Myers Dowding and he was my maternal Grandfather.  Alma Louise 
Bartholomew Dowding was a daughter of Noah A. and Minne V. Tadman 
Bartholomew.  Alma was Clifton's 2nd wife and my Mother's, Irene J. Dowding 
Meyers, Stepmother.  Alma was the woman that I grew up knowing as my 
Grandmother.
