Vicki Scott sent me photos of the headstones of both Clinton and his wife 
Jane. They are buried in the Hick's Cemetery, on M-66 in Pennfield Township, 
Calhoun County,  Michigan. Clinton's headstone reads:

C. D. Ribble
     Died
Aug 7, 1894
     Aged
84 yrs. 4 ms.
  & 19 D's.

This record seems to indicate that Clinton was born March 19, 1810.
