Mary Stoffar 1827-1911

Additional Comments:
Mary Stoffer is buried next to the J Dobbertien headstone.  The last name 
Stoffer was misspelled as Stoffar on Mary's headstone.  Mary Stoffer was 
Sophia Dobbertien's mother and came to the United States after her husband, 
Hans Joachim C.F. Stoffer died in Germany.  Mary Stoffer nee Witt was born in 
Neukirchen Mecklenburg Schwerin Germany on 4 Jan 1827.  Her full birth name 
was Maria Catharina Witt.  Her father was Johann Friedrich Witt and her mother 
was Catharina Elisabeth Schmidt.  She married Hans Joachim C.F. Stoffer on 9 
Nov 1849.
