                           WALKER CEMETERY
                       SECTION 11, M – 66 SOUTH
                  ATHENS TOWNSHIP, CALHOUN COUNTY, MI

The Following Description Was Taking From Cemetery Records Done By Michigan 
D.A.R In 1942:

 Walker Cemetery Is Located In Athens, Township, Calhoun County, MI, On Michigan
State Highway 78, About 5 Miles North Of The Village Of Athens. It Is An Old 
Cemetery And Very Poorly Taken Care Off.

 The First Burial Recorded O Stone Is That Of Roxana Tuttle, Wife Of Jared 
Tuttle 1845, Age 81 Years.

 The Plat Consists Of About An Acre Of Ground, Said To Be Taken From A Farm
Owned By Salmon Walker, And So Named For Him. His Death Is Recorded
May 7, 1879, Age 71 Years.
