7 DIVORCES GRANTED IN 1 DAY BY JURIST

BATTLE CREEK JUDGE SPENDS BUSY DAY UNTANGLING MATRIMONIAL KNOTS.



Battle Creek, Dec. 16. - Seven divorces were granted by Judge North in circuit 
court this morning.  This afternoon the work of selecting a jury in the suit of 
W. J. Montford against the Kellogg Toasted Corn Flake company started, but the 
taking of testimony will not start until tomorrow morning.



Those cases in which decrees were granted this morning were as follows:  Dan Y. 
Miller against Gertrude Miller; Alta Kennedy against Burt Kennedy; Mattie M. 
Downes against Lawrence M. Downes; Adelpha Weddle atainst Lily May Weddle, 
granted on cross-bill; Lydia Weigand against Edward Weigand; and Stella Cure 
against Roy Cure.
