Hon. L. R. Bolter represents Harrison county in the state legislature. He was
born in O. in 1835; moved to Logan in 1863, and engaged in the practice of the
law. He was elected to the legislature in 1865, '73, '75 and '81 on the
democratic ticket. He was temporary speaker of the house in 1874. In 1855 he
married Caroline J. Rhinehart, of Cass county, Mich. They have two sons and one
daughter.
