Pg 3 col 3. - Dowagiac,Mich., Sept 13 --- AFter a married life of forty years,
Mrs. Amos Knapp, of this city, seeks a divorce from her husband, a well to do
ex-farmer. The Knapps have been prominent in liberal league circles here and
years ago entertained D. M. Bennett, the editor of the Truth Seeker upon his
return from a trip around the world, shortly after his incarceration for
publishing obscene literature, so-called. Mrs. Knapp has been a conspicuous
figure on the streets, through her  passion for wearing bloomers.
