Dowagiac Daily News December 20, 1977
Sophia Grace Block, 84, formerly of 213 Haines St, died Monday at 3:45 am in 
the Cass County Medical Facility.  She was born in Chicago on July 30, 1893.  
She is survived by one daugher Mrs. Anna Overling* of Chicago.
She was a member of the Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church.  Funeral 
services will be held Wednesday at 11am in the Holy Materninty of Mary Church.  
The Rosary will be said at 7:30pm tonight at the Groner Funeral Home.  Friends 
may call after 4pm today.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

*Anna was Sophia's sister not her daughter
