Died at Pokagon, Mich., Aug. 27, 1893, Mrs. Sarah M. Chilson, wife of Thomas M. 
Chilson.  Mrs. Chilson was born in Broome county, N.Y., and was married Aug. 15, 
1855, to Thomas M. Chilson, at Detroit, Mich., where they resided until their 
removal and final settlement in Pokagon, Oct. 25, 1860.  She leaves of near 
relatives, Geo. C. Bates, of Howard, Mich; Henry Bates, of Binghampton, N.Y.; 
Mrs. Caroline Franklin of Harvard, Neb.; brother and sister, Wm. H. Thompson, of 
Benton Harbor, and Willard Thompson, of Kansas, half brothers.  Thos. M. 
Chilson, her husband, and Charles C. Chilson, an adopted son, of Denver, Col., 
to mourn her loss.  Her funeral was held today at 10 a.m., from the family 
residence, thence to Edwardsburg, cemetery.
