    Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. R. Goucher

    Last rites for Mrs. R. W. Goucher, 95, one of Jackson County's oldest
residents was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Buchner funeral
chapel. The Rev. A. L. Eddy, pastor of the First Congregational church
officiated. The body was taken to Cassopolis, Michigan for burial. Graveside
services were held there Wednesday afternoon.

    Mary Blanche Tietsort, daughter of John and Ellen Tietsort, was born March
9, 1854 at Cassopolis. On October 16, 1872 she married Romi Wilson Goucher
there. They moved to Maquoketa in 1913. Mr. Goucher died in 1929. Surviving are
her daughter, Mrs. Roy Sanner, in whose home she passed away Sunday; a sister,
Mrs. Ellen Graham, Sierra Madre, California; two nieces and a nephew.
