He had attained the ripe old age of 75 years, one month and two days, and leaves a loving wife, with whom he lived 51 happy years, and six children, five girls and one boy, all of whom will be here as soon as possible, except the oldest, who resides in Virginia. They are all married and are respected people. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Hunt, residing north of here, and one in Valpariso. Mr. Grice was one of the oldest settlers in this vicinity, having lived here since he was 12 years old and on his farm north of Niles since marriage until six years ago, when he moved to his city and resided at the corner of Howard and Fifth streets, where he died.
