Norwood was born on September 29, 1921 in the Three Rivers Hospital he was the son of Minnie Helen (Bohne) and Norwood (Sr.) Harris. He married Vera V. Ragan on July 23, 1948 in Dowagiac, Mich. she survives him. He lived in Marcellus since 1931. He served in WWll in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. At one time he was employeed with American Coach, of Cassopolis, Cree Coach,of Marcellus and Eaton Corporation of Kalamazoo. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Survivors besides his wife, Vera Harris; 4 daughters; Linda Reeves, West Branch, Mi., Judy (Dave) Land of Sturgis, Mi., Christine (Fred) Schroeder of White Pigeon, Mi. and Glenda Stephens of Bradenton, Fla. 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father; Clyde I. Lutin, two sisters, Mary Ellen Harris in 1928 and Charlotte Keeley in 1975 and one grandson Harold R. Reeves lll in 1993. Rev. Michael Bender of the Mottville Bible Church officiating at the Graveside services at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 in the Marcellus Cemetery, Marcellus, Mich. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
