Obituary for Thomas McKain who died on July 31, 1897.

Thomas McKain was born in Ireland in 1818 and died at his home in Volina
Saturday morning July 31st. In 1836 he married Jane Morrow, they coming to
America in 1849. Mrs. McKain died but a month ago. Rev. J. H. Hammond preached
the funeral sermon and the interment was in the Nicholsville cemetary.
