DEATH OF ELMER WESTFALL

Funeral services will be held in Edwardsburg tomorrow afternoon for Elmer
Westfall, 73, a life-long resident of Cass county, who died on Saturday evening
after 18 months of illness.  He is survived by a widow and by the following
children, Howard, who superintendent of the Berrien county infirmary; Ray, of
Barron lake; Miss Judith, who teaches in the public schools in Jackson; Carol
and Thelma at home.  Mrs. E.L. Williams of Mishawaka and Mrs. Guy Williams of
Woodward, Okla., are sister of the deceased.  The funeral services will be held
in the  home at 3:30.  Burial will be made in Edwardsburg.  Mr. Westfall was a
teacher in the rural schools of Cass county when a young man.
