Ernest F. Allen was the son of George and Estella nee Akens Allen.

Ernest Allen was married two times.

#1:  Thressa Byrd, she was the daughter of Chester and Clara Byrd of Calvin 
Center, MI. 
Ernest and Thressa were the parents of two children: Cornell b. 22 Feb 1914 
and Herman b. 8 Aug 1916. 

Thressa nee Byrd Allen died in 1937. 

#2:  Pearl Chavous, daughter of Charles and Annie Chavous.  Miss Chavous was a 
school teacher at Center School.
