Mamie Ampey

1897 - 1977

Marker is shared with spouse Carl C. Ampey (1887-1956)

Mamie Lawson was born in 1897.  She was the daughter of Clarence E. Lawson and 
Lizzie nee Copley Lawson.  Mamie Lawson had 10 siblings.  The siblings were 
Glenn, Josie, Elvira, Theola, Forest, Zerel, Martha, Edith, Olive and Hilda 
Lawson.

Mamie Lawson married Carl C. Ampey. Carl and Mamie Ampey were the parents of 
William (Bill) Ampey b. 1923, Martha Ampey b. 1925, and Clarence Ampey b. 
1928.  Carl Ampey was the step-father to Mamie's son Oren Chavous b. 1915. 

Carl and Mamie Ampey were charter members of Calvin Community Chapel Church.

Mamie nee Lawson Ampey died December 22, 1977.
