Carl C. Ampey

1887 - 1956

Marker is shared with spouse Mamie nee Lawson Ampey (1897-1977)

Carl C. Ampey was born in December 1887 in Michigan.  His parents were Osceola 
Ampey b. 1861 IN and Emily/Emley R. Ware (Rebecca Ware) b. Feb 1865 OH. 
Osceola Ampey and Emily Ware were married in Cass County, Michigan 6 May 1884.

The children of Osceola Ampey and Emily Ampey were Harvey Ampey b. March 1884 
MI, Maude Ampey b. Mar 1886 MI and Carl C. Ampey. 

Carl C. Ampey married Mamie Lawson. Carl and Mamie Ampey were the parents of 
William (Bill) Ampey b. 1923, Martha Ampey b. 1925, and Clarence Ampey b. 
1928.  Carl Ampey was the step-father to Mamie's son Oren Chavous b. 1915. 

Carl and Mamie Ampey were charter members of Calvin Community Chapel Church.

Carl C. Ampey died in 1956.
