Carl C. Ampey
1887 - 1956

Marker is shared with Mamie Ampey (1897-1977). 

Carl C. Ampey was born in December 1887 in Michigan.  His parents were Osceola 
Ampey (b. 1861 IN)and Emily R. Ware (Rebecca Ware) (b. Feb 1865 OH).  Their 
children were Harvey b. Mar 1884 MI, Maude b. Mar 1886 MI and Carl Ampey.

Carl C. Ampey married Mamie Lawson.  Carl and Mamie were the parents of Oren 
Ampey b. 1916, William E.(Bill) Ampey b. 1923, Martha Ampey b. 1925 and 
Clarence Ampey b. 1928.  

Carl and Mamie Ampey were charter members of Calvin Community Chapel.

Carl C. Ampey died in 1956.
