James A. Coker
1866 - 1955

Marker is shared with wife Minerva A. (Allen) Coker (1867-1952).

James A. Coker was born March 3, 1866.

James A. Coker married Minerva Allen  September 22, 1886.  James A. Coker was 
the son of Lucinda Coker and a Mr. Wickwyre.

James A. Coker and Minerva nee Allen Coker were the parents of 12 children.  
They were:  Winnie, Rosella, Lena Corinne, Wilbert F., Kenneth, Herbert O., 
Elvera M., Ethel Pearl, Esther Merle, Iva Cleoa, Marion and Roxanna Bell. 

James A. and Minerva were Charter Members of Calvin Community Chapel. 

James A. Coker was an Associate Member at Calvin Community Chapel and donated 
many weeks of work during the two year period of church construction.  His 
occupation was a farmer. 

James A. Coker died February 6, 1955 at the of 89.
