Marshall H. Sanders, Sr.
1911 -- 1962

Marker is shared with wife Esther R. Sanders (1908-2002).

Marshall Howe Sanders, Sr. was born March 10, 1911 in Porter Twp. Cass Co. 
MI.  He died February 25, 1962 in Ann Arbor, MI.  His parents were Oscar 
Sanders and Edna B. Vaughn. He had 3 siblings Lester, Estella and Myrl.

Marshall Sr. was married April 6, 1935 to Esther Rosetta Wilson, daughter of 
James H. Wilson and Rosanna Allen of Calvin Twp. Cass Co. 

Marshall H. Sanders, Sr. and Esther R. Sanders are the parents of two sons 
Marshall H. Sanders, Jr. and Maurice W. Sanders. 

Marshall H. Sanders, Sr. was an ardent worker in the construction of Calvin 
Community Chapel.
