Doris T. Steele
1918 - 1989

Marker is shared with husband Alvin B. Steele (1918-1989), daughter LaRaine 
Steele (1953-1998) and son Richard L. Steele (1951-1994).

Inscription:  Wed June 12, 1939

Doris T. Brown was born June 1, 1918.  Her parents were Preston and Minnie 
Brown.  Doris Brown had two siblings: Preston Brown, Jr. and Granville "Bobby" 
Brown. 

Doris Brown married Alvin Steele June 12, 1939, in South Bend IN.  They were 
the parents of 12 children.  They were:  Vivian, George, Louis, Brent, Steven, 
Helen, Alma, Anne, Bruce, Richard, LaRaine, and William (Bill). 

Doris, Alvin and family were very active at Calvin Community Chapel.
