H. Clyde Wade
1882-1969

Marker is shared with wife Rosella C. nee Coker Wade (1892-1995).

H. Clyde Wade was born October 2, 1882.  His parents were Zachariah Wade and 
Miranda Cousins (Aunt Ran).  H. Clyde Wade had one sibling Fred Wade.

H. Clyde Wade and Rosella Coker were married on June 26, 1912.   H. Clyde Wade 
and Rosella Wade celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday July 1, 
1962 at their home in Calvin Center, MI.

In 1928, Rosella and H. Clyde Wade became Charter Members of Calvin Community 
Chapel. 

When first organized in 1928, H. Clyde Wade served as president of Calvin 
Community Chapel and was the chairman of the building committee during the 2 
year construction period. He was also a township supervisor for many years and 
conducted a bonding business. 

H. Clyde Wade was a life member of Granite Lodge No. 11F & A.M. 

H. Clyde Wade chewed tobacco and was a serious card player.  He died August 
31, 1969 at the age of 87.
