Amanda J. Cousins was born 1837 in Indiana.  Her parents were David Cousins 
and Ary (Arah) Bland.  David and Ary were the parents of Amanda J.,Greenburry, 
David Wilson, Laura F., Robert and Elzy.

Amanda J. Cousins married Jefferson B. Anderson September 30, 1852 in Cass Co. 
Michigan.  Jefferson B. Anderson is the son of Ezekiel Anderson and Winnie 
Esther Goens.  

Jefferson B. Anderson aka J. B. Anderson b. 1829 in Illinois is buried in Mt. 
Zion Cemetery, Calvin Twp. Cass. Co.  He was a member of Co. I, 102nd U.S.C.T. 

Amanda J. Cousins and Jefferson B. Anderson were the parents of 12 children.  
They were:  John b. 1853, Thomas Perry b. 1855, Redmand b. 1857, Monroe b. 
1859, Jefferson W. b. 1861, Marinda b. 1863, Naomia b. 1866, Ann Eliza b. 
1868, Ellenora b. 1870, Zackariah b. 1872, Moses b. 1875 and Tolitha b. 1878.
