Weona Copley
Born Nov 4, 1894
Died Oct, 1980

Weona Copley was born 4 Nov 1894 in Brownsville village, Calvin Township, Cass 
County Michigan.  Weona Copley was the only child of Mary Copley.  Weona’s 
father is unknown.  Weona’s mother Mary Copley was married thrice:  1.   
Joseph H. Scott 9 Aug 1901 Brownsville, MI. 2.  Chester Garner, 27 Mar 1904, 
Cassopolis MI,  3.  Leander “Lee” Harper 26 Nov 1916 Vandalia, MI.   

Weona Copley was married twice.  Her first marriage, age 17, was to Charley 
Adams, a clergyman age 29, on 20 Dec 1911 in Vandalia village, Cass County.   
Weona Copley’s second marriage was to William Oscar Brown on 9 Jun 1917.  
Weona Copley Brown and William Oscar Brown had one daughter Eunice Wanda 
Brown.  

Note:  The date of death on the marker of Weona Copley is incorrect; her 
correct date of death is 22 Sep 1980.
