Marker was covered by grass and submerged in the ground and very weathered.  
Epitaph is illegible.

C.V.T. was known as Volney.  His parents are Dr. Greenburry Cousins and 
Malinda Chandler.  Volney died of burns. Volney's siblings were Elizabeth, 
Malinda, Frances S., Sidney, Jerome S., Estella and Susan.
