Each of their names inscribed within an open book symbol and between each book is a cross with praying hands. Edith Belle Dungey was born 09 Mar 1903 in Michigan. Edith was the daughter of William Dungey b 1878,(Canada) and Rachel Burden b 1887, Calvin Township, Cass Co, Michigan. Edith Belle Dungey and Albert “Ab” Grady, Jr. were married 1 Jun 1918, Cassopolis, Michigan. Albert and Edith had one son Alfred Louis Grady b 18 Nov 1918 in Calvin Township, Cass County, Michigan. Alfred died 16 Mar 1934 in Flint, Michigan at the age of 15 years, three months and 28 days. He attended public schools in Calvin Township until 1932 when he enrolled at the Vocational Training School in Flint, Michigan. Young Albert was hoping to learn a trade, but while home on vacation at Christmas he contracted a severe cold, from which he never fully recovered. Alfred Louis Grady was described as kind and having a pleasing disposition and a favorite among his playmates and friends. Alfred Louis Grady died of lobar pneumonia at Hurley Hospital in Flint. Albert and Edith had one adopted daughter Yvonne Grady nicknamed "Punkie". Edith Belle Grady died 11 Feb 1987, Cass County, Cassopolis, Michigan.
