Angelina Allen
Died April 17, 1854
44 Y's  8 M's  24 D's 

Marker is shared with husband Green Allen, Sr.  

Green Allen's inscription is on the south side of marker, Angelina's 
inscription is on the north side.   This marker was re-inked in the last 
decade and a half.  Note:  The top section of the marker was repositioned 
incorrectly over the name inscribed above. Green Allen's name is displayed on 
the Angelina Allen side and vice verse.

Angelina/Angeline Wade was born ~24 Jul 1810.  She was the daughter of 
John Wade.  Angelina Wade married Green Allen, Sr., 15 Oct 1829 in Northampton 
Co. NC. 

Angelina/Angeline Allen and Green Allen, Sr. were the parents of Mary Jane 
Allen b. 29 Nov 1832, Louvina Allen b. 16 Aug 1834, John Wesley Allen b. 7 Jul 
1838, Temperance (Tempa Ann) Allen b. 5 Oct 1842, Julia Ann Allen b. 7 Mar 
1843 in Logan Co. OH and Arthur A. Allen b. 22 Oct 1847. All children were 
born in OH. 

Note:  One source indicates two additional children of Angelina and Green 
Allen, Sr.  These two children Louisa Frances Allen and Thomas Allen remained 
unconfirmed. 

The marriages of the Green Allen, Sr. and Angelina nee Wade Allen children 
were: Mary Jane Allen married Lemuel Archer, Cass Co., Louvina Allen m. Willis 
Hathcock, John Wesley Allen m. Harriette T.(?), Temperance (Tempa Ann) Allen  
m. Joseph Cannon Ash, Julia Ann Allen m. John C. Early and Arthur A. Allen m. 
Mary A.(?). 

Angelina Allen died April 17, 1854 at the age of 44 years, 8 months and 24 
days.
