Maud M. Allen was born 9 Aug 1872 in Michigan.   She was the daughter of James 
W. Allen b. 1836 in NC and Temperance A. (Tempa Ann) Allen b. 5 Oct 1842 in OH.

James W. Allen and Temperance A. Allen were married 10 Jul 1864 in Cass Co, MI 
and were the parents of Louisa May Allen b. 1866, Arthur Allen b. 1869 in MI, 
Maud M. Allen b. 1872 in MI, and Bertha Allen b. 1875. 

Note #1:  James W. Allen was the son of Arthur Allen b. 1815 and 
Dorothy "Dolly" Garner b. 1815.  James W. Allen died 9 May 1876 in Calvin Twp. 
Cass Co at the age of 40y  1m  2d.  James W. Allen was a cousin of Green 
Allen, Sr. 

Note #2:  Temperance A. (Tempa Ann) Allen was the daughter of Green Allen, Sr. 
and Angelina nee Wade Allen.   James W. Allen and Temperance A. Allen were 
cousins. 

Note #3: Temperance A. (Tempa Ann) Allen was married two times.  
Marriage #1:  James W. Allen m. 10 Jul 1864.
Marriage #2:  Joseph Cannon Ash m. 4 May 1879 in Cass Co., MI.

Maud M. Allen died June 6, 1882 at age of 9 years, 9 months and 28 days.
