Marker is s/w his wife Angelina Allen.  

Green Allen was born 7 Feb 1807.  His parents were Emery Arthur Allen and 
Esther Williams.  

Circa 1835 Green and his brother Joseph migrated from Northampton Co. NC to 
Logan Co. OH.  Circa 1848 Green and Joseph traveled from OH and settled in 
Cass Co. MI. 

Green Allen, Sr. married Angeline/Angelina Wade, the daughter of John Wade on 
15 Oct 1829 in Northampton NC.  Green Allen and Angelina Wade were the parents 
of Mary Jane b. 1832, Louvina b. 1834, John Wesley b. 1838, Temperance (Tempa 
Ann) b. 1842, Julia Ann b. 1843 and Arthur A. b. 1847.    

Angeline/Angelina nee Wade Allen b. 1810 and d. 17 April 1854.  

Green Allen, Sr. married Mary Ann J. nee Young Artis 16 Oct 1856 Logan Co. 
OH.  
Green and Mary Ann were the parents of Green Allen, Jr. b. 1858 Cass Co.,  
Martha Ann Allen b. 1861 MI, Laura Allen, George Henry Allen, James W. Allen 

Mary Ann J. nee Young Artis Allen was born 8 Jan 1826 in VA.  Her parents were 
Chelsey D. Young and Daphne Harroway.  

Mary Ann J. Young Artis was previously married to Kinchin/Kinchen Artis b. 1 
Jun 1823.  Kinchin and Mary Ann J. Young m. 7 Nov 1849 and were the parents of 
Ann Eliza Artis, Temperance Esther Artis, George Henry Artis and Laura Artis.

Note:  Kinchin Artis b. 1 Jun 1823 and d. 1855.  He is buried near 
Bellefontaine OH. 

Mary Ann J. nee Young Artis Allen died 13 Feb 1913.

Green Allen, Sr. died August 17, 1879 at the age of 72 years and 6 months.
