Sarah C. Roberts was born 1817 in NC.  Her parents were William Roberts 
and Rachel Unknown.  

Sarah Roberts married Harrison Ash January 5, 1837 in Clark Co., OH. 

Sarah Ash and Harrison Ash were the parents of Layfayette M. Ash b. March 
1860 in Cass Co., Rosella Ash b. 1840 in OH, Susannah Ash b. 1843 in OH, 
Asbery/Asbury Ash b. May 1845 in OH, Eliza Jane Ash b. 1848 in OH, Martha F. 
Ash b. 1850 in MI, Rachel Ash b. 1854 in MI and Melissa Ash b. 1857 in MI.

Note:  Eliza Jane Ash m. A.I.J. Jackson, Martha F. Ash m. Levi Sanders, 
Melissa Ash m. William Snelling and Layfayette M. Ash m. Martha J./Mattie 
Turner 11 Sep 1888 in Pokagon Twp., Cass Co. MI. 

Sarah C. nee Roberts Ash died March 9, 1875, in Calvin Township, Cass 
Co. Michigan  at the age of 57 years.
