Catherine Haithcock was born in 1825 in North Carolina.  Catherine is the 
daughter of Mills Haithcock b. 1800 in NC and Sarah Byrd b. 1810 in NC.

Catherine Haithcock married Nelson Butcher 29 Aug 1850 in Logan, OH.

Nelson Butcher was born Oct 1825 in VA.

Catherine nee Haithcock Butcher and Nelson Butcher were the parents of nine 
children.  The children are:  Louisa Butcher b. 1852 in OH, Salathiel Butcher 
b. Nov 1853 in OH, Isiah Butcher b. 1855 in MI, Elias Butcher b. Dec 1857 in 
MI, Melinda Butcher b. 1859 in MI, Josiah Butcher b. Jun 1862 in Cass Co. MI, 
Jesse Butcher b. Nov 1863 in Cass Co. MI, Martha Butcher b. 1867 in MI and 
Mills Butcher b. 24 Nov 1869 in Cass Co. MI. 

Note:  The engraved named on the marker footstone is spelled Buther as is the 
last name of Nelson.
