David Butcher was born in OH.  David was 19 years old when he enlisted on  
October 21, 1863.  David was alive for the 1870 US Census.  His parents were 
Macklen and Elizabeth (Betsey) Butcher.  The siblings of David Butcher are 
Mary, Lucinda, Catherine, Angeline, Pathena and Sylvia. 
 
Note: David Butcher's sister Angeline Butcher married Uriah Artis October 21,  
1861. 
 
An accurate date of death for David Butcher is not known.
