Epitaph:  Sleep on dear dad and take thy rest till Christ shall rend the tomb.

Marker is broken into two pieces.

David Cousins was born January 12, 1807, in Nelson, KY.  

David Cousins married Ary (Arah) Bland, January 18, 1826 in Nelson, KY.  Ary 
Bland b. 1805 in KY. 

David Cousins was a shoemaker.

David and Ary were the parents of:  Greenburry b. 1826, James b. 1831, Elzy b. 
1833, Amanda J. b. 1837, David Wilson b. 1838, Laura F. b. 1847, and Robert b. 
1851.

David Cousins died May 16, 1878 at the age of 72 years.
