Rebecca J. Hathcock

June 15, 1858
Died
December 21, 1883

Marker was beneath trees and lying on its side.  The inscription was partially 
covered with dirt. 

Rebecca J. Newsome was born June 15, 1858.  Her parents were Eaton 
Newsome/Newsom and Mary Ann Anderson.  Both parents are buried at Chain Lake 
Cemetery.

Note:  Mary Ann Anderson married Eaton Newsome/Newsom 28 Dec 1852 in Cass Co. 
MI.  Mary Ann Anderson Newsome became the second wife of William Allen 23 May 
1871.  William Allen's first wife was Winna/Winnie A. Anderson the sister of 
Mary Ann Anderson. 

Rebecca Newsome married Levi Hathcock b. 1853.  Levi is the son of Willis 
Hathcock and Louvina nee Allen Hathcock. 

Rebecca J. Hathcock died December 15, 1858
