Susannah Sanders was born in 1843.  Her marker is located next to Harrison 
Ash. 
 
Harrison Ash and wife Sarah Roberts had a daughter Susannah Ash b. 1843 in OH. 
Susannah Sanders marker lies next to that of Harrison Ash.  

Speculation #1:  It is very possible Susannah Sanders the wife of Solomon 
Sanders, Jr. was Susannah Ash the daughter of Harrison and Sarah nee Roberts 
Ash.  However there is no definitive confirmation other than both Susannah Ash 
and Susannah Sanders were born in 1843 and Susannah Sanders burial location is 
adjacent to Harrison and Sarah Ash. 
 
Fact #1:  There is one precedent of a marriage between an Ash family member 
and the Sanders family.  Martha F. Ash b. 1850 in MI, also a daughter of 
Harrison and Sarah Ash and sister of Susannah Ash, married Levi Sanders 27 Jun 
1878 Cass Co. MI.  Levi Sanders b. 1827 was a brother of Solomon Sanders, Jr. 
b. 1829.  
 
Fact: #2:  Research does confirm Susannah Ash married William D. Mitchell 8 
Dec 1859 in Cass Co. MI. 
 
Susannah Sanders died October 20, 1876 at the age of 34 years.
