Epitaph: Farewell my Children in distress, 
         For I am going to be at rest.  
         I hope we all shall meet again, 
         Where parting never will give us pain. 

Marinda Dungey was born 16 Apr 1820 in Tennessee.  Marinda is the daughter of 
Richard Dungey and Nancy (unknown).

Marinda Dungey married Isaac Perry Stewart b. 1821 in OH.  Marinda and Isaac 
Stewart were the parents of Emily Stewart b. 1846 in OH.

Marinda was the first wife of Isaac Perry Stewart.  The second wife of Isaac 
Perry Stewart was America Jane Artis.  America J. Artis is buried at Mt. Zion 
Cemetery, Calvin Twp. Cass Co.

Marinda Stewart has a large gravestone, with clear lettering displaying an 
engraved hand with a finger pointing to the heavens.  The epitaph appears at 
the bottom of the marker and the Stewart surname is etched on the foot-stone.

Marinda nee Dungey Stewart died December 25, 1877 at the age of 57 years, 8 
months, 9 days of consumption.
