Rebecca nee Tabourn Allen was born in VA.  Rebecca Tabourn met Joseph Allen at 
a Holloween Party in 1820.  They were married 9 Sep 1824 at the Halifax Court, 
Northhampton Co., NC. They were the parents of 15 children.  Rebecca Allen 
died of lung fever 31 May 1884.  She was a charter member of Mt. Zion Church.
