Albert Ferdnand Egmer was born 1 March 1848 (1849 according to his death 
certificate) in Rockett, Prussia, Germany. He married Julia Ann Hedrick on 6 
November 1879 in Berrien County, Michigan. He died in Dowagiac on 17 February 
1932. He and Julia's children were: Catherine Egmer (24 September 1882-?), 
Wilimina "Mimi" Egmer (February 1885-July 1969), Henrietta A. (Egmer) Peters, 
(3 September 1888-9 March 1918), Gertrude Elizabeth Egmer (7 January 1890-
March 1972), and Carl Egmer (15 July 1892-September 1967).
