Albert Ferdnand Egmer was born 1 March 1849 in Rockett, Prussia and died 17 
February 1932 in Dowagiac, Cass County, Michigan. He married Julia Ann Hedrick 
on 6 November 1879 in Berrien County, Michigan. Albert and Julia were the 
parents of Catherine Egmer (1882-?), Wilimina Egmer (1885-1969), Henrietta 
(Egmer) Peters (1888-1918), Gertrude Egmer (1890-1972), and Carl Egmer (1892-
1967).
