A native of Charlevoix County, Mr. King died unexpectedly in Detroit August 5th after suffering an apparent stroke. Only last week he visited the family home at 208 E. Hurlbut in Charlevoix. Mr. King was born in Ironton, the son of the late Hugh and Florence King, and graduated from Charlevoix High School. He moved to the Detroit area in the late 1930s and made his home in Royal Oak in recent years. He was employed as an electrician in Rochester. He is survived by his widow, the former Esther Case; two sons, Jack and Dick, both of Detroit; and four grandchildren.
