Lawrence Boss, Sr. was born Aug. 17, 1881 at Ottawa, Michigan, the son of John
Boss and Margaret Hoogerhuis
Lawrence Boss married Gertrude (Gertie) DeGroot April 14, 1904 at Ellsworth,
Michigan.  Gertrude is the daughter of H. DeGroot and Annie Dykstra 

Gertrude DeGroot was born February 27, 1878 in the Netherlands.
