Etta Mae Burns 1864-1938

Etta Mae Burns was born Etta Mae King to Asher and Susan Miller King in Eveline
Township, Charlevoix County Michigan on August 14, 1864. 

Etta Married George H. Gregory on December 25, 1882 in Atwood, Antrim County
Michigan.  George died on February 26, 1889 and is buried in Barnard Cemetery. 
Look for the large headstone that reads Gregory - Burnes. Etta and George had no
children. 

The name of Burns was spelled two ways: Burnes, Burns.  

Etta then married William Thomas Burns (1859-1931), son of Bernard and Abigail
Lee Burns, on January 01, 1891 in Charlevoix County, Michigan.  They had no
children.  
Etta died June 21, 1938, age 73 years, 10 months, 7 days, of Myocarditis result
of Coronary Disease in Charlevoix, Michigan.
Etta was a dedicated member and Sunday School teacher at the Barnard Methodist
Church.
